Ordinary Man

As I sit here thinking about life and what's it all about
All the every day trials that come about in life
Yielding every ache and pain over to Christ
Reading his word daily trying to get it right
So many times I fail come on I'm just trying to be honest with self
Tossing and turning all through the night
Crying out to God to help me get it right
Even though he already knows the plans for my life
Yet I still struggle to be an ordinary man
Caught in the strong holds of a world system plan
Denying the power there of which created everything
Jesus I thank you I'm only a ordinary man I believe your word
Brings healing in every situation despite the pain
Show me how to love unconditionally to my friends
Let me be the example of a mustard seed
As I walk out in the wilderness searching for who I truly am
Just an ordinary man
